Bucks Built Grants Fund: Fall Application Now Open
Funded by Penn Community Bank and administered by Startup Bucks in partnership with the Bucks County Industrial Development Authority, the Bucks Built Startup Fund will award $40,000 in grants to four promising early-stage startups this Fall.
The Bucks Built Startup Fund is now accepting applications for its fall cycle of grants funding. This round, four grants of $10,000 will be awarded to high potential early-stage startups and small businesses.
As the volume of Bucks County based applicants has increased each cycle, existing presence in Bucks County is now a must-have requirement for consideration. Companies can be incorporated elsewhere, e.g. Delaware C-corp, but must meet one of the Bucks County geographic requirements.

Bucks Built Fund grant recipients will be announced at an expo-style event designed to bring the local startup community together.
In addition to investment, each startup receives partnered support, guidance, and introduction from the Bucks Built team, Penn Community Bank, and the Startup Bucks community focused on enabling growth and securing follow-on funding.
The 11 businesses have received $ 50,000 in total from Penn Community Bank since 2022 in two funding cycles in Spring 2023 and Spring 2022. Recipients from the past have all provided a novel solution to a problem they are passionate about, covering a diverse range of industries: like Health Tech, AI & Data Analytics, Technology, Content creation, Food, and Medtech.
“Penn Community Bank is proud to continue our partnership with Startup Bucks and the Bucks County Industrial Development Authority to support and grow our community’s economy,” said Kelly Boyle, Penn Community Bank Community Relations Manager. “As a community bank, we’re committed to growing a thriving business ecosystem. Working together to fund and administer these local grants is just another way to increase access to funds and resources for the next generation of local businesses.
The Bucks Built team will hold online information sessions to field questions from interested startups, businesses, and partners on September 12 and September 18th. Register here to attend.
